Organizers of Melting Point Tango Week Heinz and Petra started dancing in 1992/1993. Since 1998 they have been teaching and organizing argentine tango in Switzerland, mainly in the Canton of Aargau (Lenzburg, Baden, Aarau). They advocate an open-minded tango, focusing on improvisation, musicality, a contemporary attitude to tango and the equality of both dancing roles as well as on ways to dance pleasurably and relaxed in a milonga, integrating into the crowd well. Heinz' recent tango activities can be found on his own website. Petra also still organises activities on a more irregular basis, is a Tango DJ and helps out in Milonga tanGOtra in Zürich.
